Is this a physical or chemical exfoliator?

It provides both. Salicylic Acid chemically exfoliates the skin, while Walnut Shell Powder physically buffs away dead surface skin.

How often should I use it?

Use once or twice per week. Avoid excessive use, as over-exfoliating may cause dryness, sensitivity or discomfort.

Is it suitable for oily or congested skin?

Yes. Kaolin Clay helps absorb excess surface oil, while Salicylic Acid helps improve the appearance of clogged pores and uneven texture.

Can I use it on blemish-prone skin?

Yes, but massage gently and avoid scrubbing inflamed, broken or irritated blemishes.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin should patch test first and begin with once-weekly use. Because the formula contains both Salicylic Acid and physical exfoliating particles, it may not suit very reactive skin.

Can I use it alongside Retinol or other exfoliating acids?

Avoid using it in the same routine as Retinol, AHAs, BHAs or another facial scrub, as combining exfoliating products may increase irritation.

What does the exfoliator smell like?

It has a mild, naturally earthy scent with subtle coffee and cocoa notes. No parfum is added, so the aroma comes primarily from the formula’s ingredients. Individual scent perception may vary.
